The Clear Agreement

Our Terms of Service outline the mutual respect and responsibilities required to maintain the pristine standards of freshlinea. This isn't legal jargon—it's a framework for a trusted partnership between our Parisian team and your workspace.

01. The Handshake

By accessing freshlinea.cc or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity (such as an Office Manager acting for a Parisian firm), you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

The services provided by freshlinea are strictly limited to professional cleaning and maintenance. This website serves as an informational and booking platform. We do not act as a property management firm, nor do we provide security, concierge, or administrative services.

Common Pitfalls vs. Reality

Many cleaning services in Paris operate with opaque pricing or subpar products. We believe in transparency. Here is what distinguishes a freshlinea agreement from the standard market pitfalls.

Pristine bathroom detailing

The "All-Inclusive" Trap

Others promise a flat rate but charge extra for eco-products, elevator use, or deep cleaning. Our Fix: Itemized quotes that list every variable upfront.

Unvetted Staff Access

Random contractors entering your office without background checks. Our Fix: Dedicated teams assigned to your account, ID verified on arrival.

Harsh Chemical Residue

Bleach-based cleaners that damage surfaces and linger in the air. Our Fix: pH-neutral, biodegradable products safe for marble, wood, and electronics.

Inflexible Scheduling

Cancellation fees that punish business fluctuations. Our Fix: 24-hour notice policy for changes; no penalty for rescheduling around holidays.

Liability & Insurance

freshlinea maintains comprehensive general liability insurance appropriate for commercial cleaning operations in France. We accept liability for damages proven to be caused directly by our negligence, up to the value of the service provided for the affected period.

However, we do not assume liability for pre-existing wear and tear, delicate antique items (unless specifically noted in the pre-clean survey), or electronics damaged due to power surges not caused by our team.

Questions Facility Managers Ask

What happens if our office is closed for a holiday?

We operate on a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you notify us by 09:00 AM the previous business day, the session is simply rescheduled without charge. No "no-show" fees apply for closed offices.

Do you clean sensitive documents or locked areas?

No. Our teams are trained to avoid desks with visible documents. Locked offices remain uncleaned unless specifically opened by the client. We sign NDAs upon request.

Are your products safe for allergies?

Yes. We use fragrance-free, hypoallergenic cleaning agents derived from plant-based ingredients. We can provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all products used on your premises.

What is the procedure for lost items?

Any found items are tagged with date/location and stored securely in our office. You will be notified immediately via email. We maintain a log for 30 days.

Can we request a specific cleaner?

We encourage it. Regular clients often develop a rapport with a dedicated team member. We strive for consistency in staffing to ensure familiarity with your specific needs.

How do you handle key management?

Keys are encrypted tagged, stored in a secure safe at our headquarters (10 Rue de Penthièvre), and only issued to the assigned team lead immediately before the shift.

The Cost-Quality Equation

We believe in transparent trade-offs. Here is what you are balancing when choosing a service provider.

Eco-Friendly Products vs. Cost

Downside High-grade, certified green products cost 20-30% more than generic bleach-based chemicals.
Mitigation We offset this through supply chain efficiency and by reducing the risk of surface damage (e.g., etching marble), saving you replacement costs.

Speed vs. Thoroughness

Downside Cleaning a 200sqm office in 2 hours requires a larger team, increasing the hourly rate.
Mitigation We perform a detailed walkthrough to optimize workflow. Often, a slightly longer session (3 hours) with 2 cleaners is more cost-effective than a rushed 2-hour session.

Subcontracting vs. In-House Staff

Downside Building a fully in-house team in Paris increases our operational overhead significantly.
Mitigation We invest in retention and training rather than turnover. This ensures higher reliability, which prevents costly security breaches or scheduling failures.

Frequency vs. Budget

Downside Weekly cleaning is ideal, but monthly might fit the budget better.
Mitigation We offer a "Deep Clean" monthly package that tackles neglected areas, or a "Maintenance" bi-weekly package focusing only on high-traffic zones.
